As for your site being available under a google search that means promoting your site to google and other search engines. You can find info for that on the Google web site.
It is not a job that is done by a hosting service.

I used to run a hosting company. This is the basics of what you need.

1) Servers:
You can lease servers (for as little as $150/m...i would recomend starting with just 2) or colocate them at hundreds of datacenters. On the servers, you can install (only basic linux knowledge required) control panels (like cPanel or Plesk) to automate everything (setting up accounts and hosting). You can then sell the space on the servers (sell single domain name hosting accounts or multiple domain reseller accounts).
2) Support:
You probably will want to hire a tech (a linux administrator) to solve tech problems on the servers and keep them secure (i would recomend outsourcing to india if you are low on cash... can hire for around $500/m). Use an online tech support system (like Kayako) to automate support for your clients.
3) Signup/Billing:
You can even automate the whole signup process with some software (several to choose from). You will need recurring billing (can use paypal or a merchant account) so that your customers automatically get billed every month for your service. Make sure you have multiple billing source available (in case you get charged back -- sometimes you will get fake signups which can be problematic).
4) the Business:
Hosting is a very dynamic business and its very competitive. You will succeed if you can tap into a niche market.
If you are not very knowledgable (linux, etc.) or on low-low budget, i would recomend with just starting with a cpanel reseller acount (for as little as $35/m) from another hosting company. It will still allow you to set up single domain name hosting using space/bandwidth that is allocated to you... that you can sell to others.

Domain reselling -- you can get accounts from other domain registrars (like enom) to sell domains for small profit.

If you are looking for a web hosting company you need to look for a company with either cPanel or vDeck as their control panels. This is because these control panels provide the easy installation.

You can do it with Dreamweaver or Notepad - since it's all text.

You'll need a sign-up page and the code behind it, and a login page and the code behind it. It's FAR too much code to post here.

You first need to know whether you're on a Windows server (ASP and MSSQL) or a Linux box (PHP and MySQL) - GoDaddy offers both and it was your choice when you signed up.

Then either look for a CMS with login and read the code to see how it's done, or do a web search for web login systems. (You WILL have to understand either ASP or PHP, SQL and, possibly, Javascript. You CAN NOT create a system like this with drag&drop and clicking buttons.)

Your only other option (other than having someone write it for you) is to look at CMS programs, and see if you can use one of them. There are running demos of free ASP and PHP CMS programs at

I'd suggest switching web hosts and using as you can use cpanel to designate folders to password protect. Otherwise if you want to protect a file, you can set r/w/e permissions for that file. If you want to password protect it, their support team can show you how using a supported language.

Hope that helps.
