It seems that you are using Yahoo! SiteBuilder with operating system ‘Windows Vista’.
You can use Yahoo! SiteBuilder on Windows Vista. However, first you need to install proper Java version, on which Yahoo! SiteBuilder runs.
Yahoo! SiteBuilder is not compatible with Java 1.6.0 (Java designed for Vista). If you are using Java 1.6.0, may I request you to download J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 (JVM 1.5) for ‘Microsoft Windows Vista’ to be able to run Yahoo! SiteBuilder successfully.
Java 1.5.02 (The Java that comes with SiteBuilder), Java 1.5.11 (Newest version 1.5) works within Vista. Please download the required Java version from the following URL: Download Location:

You can download SiteBuilder to your computer just as you would download any other file or application from the Web. Just go to your Yahoo! Web Hosting control panel and click on the “SiteBuilder” link to get started!
After that to open an existing web site on your computer, select Open Site… from the File menu. If a web site is already open, you will be prompted to close, publish, and save it before selecting another site.
To import a site stored online:
===============================
1. Select Import Yahoo! Site… from the File menu.
2. If you are not already signed in, you will be asked to sign in to your Yahoo! Web Hosting account. (If you are already signed in but would like to sign in to a different Yahoo! Web Hosting account, you must first select Change User… from the File menu.)
3. Now you’ll decide in which site folder to save your imported site files. Select the radio button next to your choice:
- If you currently have a SiteBuilder site open, you can choose to save your files in the open site folder. Choose Use the current site (note that this option will not be available if you do not currently have a site open).
- To save your files in a new site folder, choose Create a new site (recommended if you’re importing a complete web site).
- To save the files in an existing site folder, choose Open an existing site.
(If you haven’t already used SiteBuilder to start building a site, you’ll be required to create a new site before you can import another site.)
4. If you chose to create a new site, enter a name for the site and choose a location in which to save this site folder. We recommend storing the site in the default location. To choose a new location, click the Browse… button and select a new folder in which to store the site. Click OK.
5. The Import Site dialog displays the site you are importing and destination of the files to be imported. (You chose the destination folder, shown in the Import to: field, in the last step.)
If you have associated more than one domain with your Yahoo! ID, click Browse… next to the Import from: field, then use the pull-down menu in the Import from… dialog to choose the site whose files you would like to import. Click OK to return to the Import Site dialog.
6. In the Import Site dialog, choose OK to confirm your choices and begin importing your site.
7. SiteBuilder will display your import progress. Please be aware that importing very large sites can take some time to complete.
8. You will see a confirmation message when the import process is complete. Click OK to start working with your imported site.
